DAY 30 - 21.8 MILES

After a big breakfast we said goodbye to Leonard and Celia, our great hosts and tour guides, and drove 24 miles across Lake Pontchartrain.  The bridge is quite a feat of engineering, and we enjoyed the ride and the views.  Then we walked off some of the food we are in NO.  Maxine thought there was less roadkill, seeing only two possum, a cardinal, and an armadillo, but Jacque saw a couple of deer and a bunch of other unidentifiable remains. We did see a nice bayou.
