The photo today is left over from New Orleans, Kenner actually, and shows a close up of the measuring stick used to gauge flooding. The highest number is 25 feet.

DAY 33 - 21.5 MILES
We were very lucky to get in our walk after some drizzle this morning and watching the gloomy weather forecast. We don't think we'll be as fortunate tomorrow and will probably go to the movies sometime. We did get to the Mississippi River, but there was nowhere to park, and it was very windy and threatening, so we gave up and went back to our hotel.
